Mohammad Khan is the Principal Criminal Defence Lawyer of Lyons Law Group. After graduating with a Bachelor of Aviation from the University of New South Wales, Mohammad took a keen interest in the law. He began training in criminal law under the tutelage of Australia’s leading criminal lawyer Adam Houda and studied law at the University of Sydney.
Mohammad regularly appears throughout all levels of Court and has extensive experience in handling serious criminal cases involving charges of murder, terrorism, drug supply and importation. He has represented clients in some of Australia’s most high-profile cases.
Mohammad is a passionate advocate for social justice. He strongly advocated human rights and anti-terrorism legislation. Mohammad takes a proactive approach to defence and is a formidable advocate when representing his clients. He believes in solid preparation and is willing to go the extra yard to achieve his clients’ best interests.
At the age of 13, Mohammad started amateur boxing with Belal Hussein, trainer of numerous former world champions. After winning the NSW State Championship twice, Mohammad finished his amateur boxing career at 18 due to work and study commitments, leaving with a record of 29 wins and 2 losses.
